Karina Mueller is the Founder and Owner of Kenai Massage, and a Licensed Massage Therapist of over 13 years. Karina left a career in the corporate world in 2010 to pursue her passion for natural health and wellness through massage therapy. She moved to Hixson in the spring of 2021 in order to live closer to family and opened Kenai Massage that August. It has been her goal to provide her community with exceptional massage therapy in a warm and inviting space, through her team of highly skilled and professional Licensed Massage Therapists. 

Karina approaches each of her sessions with the utmost professionalism and care. She prides herself on providing customized treatment plans to accommodate the unique, individual needs of her clients. Karina describes her massage style as a blend of focused therapeutic work with deep relaxation; thorough and detailed, intuitive and intentional. She has a particular passion for helping her clients with issues of lower body, including but not limited to, piriformis syndrome, sciatica, and chronic tension in hips, glutes, hamstrings, and calves.​

​Karina is a graduate of Chattanooga Massage Institute in Hixson, TN. She holds additional certifications in Ashiatsu Bar Therapy, through Deepfeet Bar Therapy and Thai Massage from the Vedic Thai Conservatory. Karina is an NCBTMB (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork) approved Ashiatsu Instructor. Karina is also a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where she studied to become a Health Coach. She is certified through the AADP (American Association of Drugless Practitioners).

In addition to her many years of experience with clients, Karina has completed 145 hours of formal training in Ashiatsu through Deepfeet Bar Therapy and Elevate Massage Training. Karina offers Ashiatsu Bar Therapy, Therapeutic Massage, and ZenLeaf Infusion (CBD Massage).
